पूनम पांडे अब नहीं निभाएंगी मंदोदरी की भूमिका, लव कुश रामलीला समिति का बड़ा फैसला

नई दिल्ली। लालकिला मैदान में आयोजित होने वाली विश्व प्रसिद्ध लव कुश रामलीला में इस बार अभिनेत्री पूनम पांडे मंदोदरी की भूमिका नहीं निभाएंगी। समिति ने समाज के विभिन्न वर्गों से आई आपत्तियों के बाद यह निर्णय लिया है।

समिति के अध्यक्ष अर्जुन कुमार और महासचिव सुभाष गोयल ने बताया कि पूनम पांडे ने समिति के आमंत्रण पर मंदोदरी की भूमिका निभाने की सहमति दी थी। लेकिन उनके नाम की घोषणा के बाद अनेक संस्थानों और वर्गों से आपत्तियाँ सामने आईं, जिससे रामलीला के उद्देश्य—प्रभु श्रीराम का संदेश समाज तक पहुँचाना—में बाधा उत्पन्न हो रही थी।
गहन विचार-विमर्श के बाद समिति ने सर्वसम्मति से यह फैसला लिया है कि इस वर्ष मंदोदरी की भूमिका किसी अन्य कलाकार से करवाई जाएगी। समिति ने पूनम पांडे के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना करते हुए कहा कि वे इस निर्णय को समझेंगी और क्षमा करेंगी।

Poonam Pandey Will No Longer Play Mandodari, Major Decision by Luv Kush Ramlila Committee

New Delhi. Actress Poonam Pandey will not be playing the role of Mandodari in this year’s world-famous Luv Kush Ramlila, held at the Red Fort grounds. The committee announced this decision after receiving objections from various sections of society.

Committee President Arjun Kumar and General Secretary Subhash Goyal stated that Poonam Pandey had initially agreed to portray Mandodari at the committee’s invitation. However, after her name was announced, several institutions and groups raised objections, which, according to the committee, could hinder the core purpose of the Ramlila — to spread the message of Lord Shri Ram to society.

Following detailed deliberations, the committee unanimously decided that the role of Mandodari will instead be performed by another artist this year. The committee also extended best wishes for Poonam Pandey’s future and expressed hope that she would understand and accept this decision.
